SECTION 1
ABSTRACT
Phi-Matter is simultaneously an exceptionally enigmatic and useful resource. It has practically unlimited uses and all of its uses far surpass that of older technologies.
SECTION 2
SUMMARY
Phi-Matter is an extradimensional substance originating from Phispace. It is extremely unstable and prone to sudden shifting in properties. While apparently chaotic from early surface-level observations, it regardless has a consistent yet extremely complex layered pattern to its property-shifts. Some of these layers have been decoded and understood, but many remain indecipherable. The current level of understanding is sufficient to exploit and understand Phi-Matter on a vast but ultimately basic level.
Visually, Phi-Matter is a glowing yellow amorphous mass which acts like a gas when uncontained and diffuses thoroughly through an object when contained/infused. When not properly contained, it has a chance of 'de-manifesting' - tunneling out of Ilgospace. It is unknown where de-manifested Phi-Matted goes. During de-manifestation, it emits a large number of charged particles which include electrons, photons, and neutrinos.
Phi-Matter has theoretically unlimited ways it can be used. Its property-shifting properties allow it to be used in any technology for any application, at a level of effectiveness surpassing all prior technologies. Its most notable property is its ability to infusion; Phi-Matter may bind to indivudual atoms and reinforces both atomic and molecular bonds. Infused materials may have their properties cheaply and extensively modified.
SECTION 3
ORIGIN
Phi-Matter is sourced from Phi-Stars; astronomical bodies which are visually akin to small pure-yellow stars. They are believed to be extremely small skipgates into Phispace which eject the extremely dense ambient matter of Phispace. Phi-Stars are difficult to analyze without Phi-Technological scanners as Phi-Matter disrupts almost all types of sensors. Sensors that are capable of detecting Phi-Matter can only see the outermost layer of an object infused with or composed of Phi-Matter.
Phi-Stars are believed to have been created exclusively during the birth of the universe and are likely to have a constant, finite number of them across the universe. They are believed to be eternal; a Phi-Star is unlikely to cease existing at any point in the future.
