Background

The SJPA-4 "Sequel" is a standard strike fighter with a balanced but high-mobility build. As a generational upgrade, it features more mounts, greater payload capacity, and is overall much more performant. It was developed in parallel with the Saga, Prelude, and Aegis. It shares several key components with them. Development had been a tricky process, however, resulting in several delays. While those delays had been ultimately beneficial, it had been concerning for the Martilan military.

The lesson: coordinating your efforts is important. A divided attention is often detrimental.
