Etema is an ethnic Central Martilan. She is somewhat tall, has long black hair, and wears a lot of green. Her eyes are an especially vibrant magenta.

PERSONALITY
Warm and loving, Etema is an emotionally-open individual who feels and cares strongly. She is strongly protective of her loved ones, and is somewhat selfless; she takes quiet joy in knowing those she cares about are happy.
Also with a light stubborn streak, she has little tolerance for true injustice; if people suffer for it, she abhors it. Despite that, she is ambivalent to most forms of corruption. Like most Martilans, she sees it as an undesirable but acceptable tradeoff for a stable and safe society.

BACKSTORY
Originating in northern Eapoti, Etema was raised in relative luxury. Though she doesn't belong to an established family, she has an uncle with strong political connections. She has a close relationship with her uncle, and she isn't afraid to ask him to leverage his influence.
In tertiary school she met Anil Vadekar. The two fell in love, started dating in secret, and were found out a few months later after having sex for the first time. She stayed with Anil following the fiery confrontation with Anil's parents, and the embarrassing confrontation with her own afterwards.
Some years later, after Anil had found long-term work and therefore stability, she and he moved into a larger home fit for a more traditional Hinustrivan family, and began to have children.
And that is where things end, for now. Etema's story is still being written.
