ABSTRACT

There is an extreme variety in life across the alternate universe. Not all species share the same baseline physical capacity. There is a strong correlation between baseline capacity, behavior, and the likelihood of a sapient species becoming successful on a world with a certain baseline capacity.

CLASS-XX(+)

• TITLE: The common title associated with a major class.
• EP-SCORE: Evolutionary Pressure score. Defines the level of environmental and competition pressures for evolution.
• SD-SCORE: Sapient Development score. Defines the likelihood of a sapient species to evolve and survive long enough to become spacefaring. A score of 100 does not guarentee sapient development, and a score of 0 does not mean development is completely impossible.
• AVERAGE CHARACTERISTICS: The average behavior of a species belonging to a class. These are not universal; outliers exist.
