Calming Agent is a chemical-based medicinal which dulls user's emotions. The intensity of Calming Agent's effects is proportional to its dose. The maximum dosage (often referred to as a 'flatline' dose) entirely eliminates emotional capacity for as long as there is a high concentration of the medicinal in its user.
For most sapient species, a single dose of Calming Agent lasts for two hours. The specific duration varies by species.
