"We seek redemption for our past mistakes."

Background

The SJPA-2 "Redeemer" is a standard fighter/interceptor fighter made in haste to correct the critical design flaws of the Rushdown. Though it cannot quite rival same-generation pioneers as the last generation could, it is still an excellent fighter and more importantly works well outside of just Greater Martil.

As the emergency successor to the Rushdown, its production was particularly fast and volumous, and incredibly expensive. Relative to the FoGM's economic output across the decades, it stands as one of the most expensive military programs in the nation's history. It was also one of Greater Martil's most successful fighter programs.

The lesson: to adapt is to survive.
