Background
The HAB-2 "Cloudwatcher" is the FoGM's first jet-powered bomber, leagues more heavy and powerful than its predecessor. Due to its immense weight capacity, it can carry a great variety of useful things...unlike its turrets, which saw little use for the entirety of its service. When they did, they often didn't help.
Its service was originally planned to end in 1994, but it was extended during 90s global tensions to maintain military readiness. It was extended again in the early 2000s as a precaution to a return to 90s-era crisis, then finally allowed to die.
The lesson: nothing can hurt you when you're way above the clouds. And if it can, guns won't save you.
